Welcome to the home of Oatlands Junior School’s recently elected Digital Leaders.
We’re looking forward to meeting every fortnight to discuss all things Computing-related and to practise our ICT skills. It will be our job to support our teachers and peers in Computing lessons, so we’ll be busy this year making sure that we’re IT experts.
Each week, we’ll also be awarding certificates for outstanding behaviour in the ICT Suite. We’ll be on the look-out for other children who set an example for the rest of their class, listen carefully to instructions and leave the ICT Suite clean and tidy.
Safer Internet Day
The Digital Leaders are currently busy getting organised for Safer Internet Day on the eleventh of February. We're planning bespoke lessons for our year group, thinking about the apps that are most popular amongst our peers. We've got some very exciting activities lined up for our classes and are really looking forward to having the chance to play teacher!
App Survey

Our results were:
E-Safety
This year, to help promote E-Safety in school, our Digital Leaders will be conducting termly surveys to find out what Oatlands pupils are doing online. We'll be collating data about our favourite apps, websites and games and featuring guidance for parents and pupils on our school E-Safety page to ensure we're using them safely.
Our first focus is Fortnite - follow the link below to find out more!
