Welcome to our class
We’re lively and positive, brilliant and bright.
We fly high and make the most of every day!
“The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it.”
Peter Pan - JM Barrie
We have had a fantastic start to the academic year and it has been lovely to get to know each other.
Things to remember:
Mondays are PE (please wear PE kits and remove jewellery)
Swimming takes place on Monday (please wear PE and bring swimming items in a separate bag. Please also bring a coat in case of rainy/cold weather).
Monday morning will be a chance to diarise the week, please sign your child's diary to acknowledge that they have read at home.
Wednesday is library afternoon.
What a great start we have made to science week! Over the course of this week, the Macaws are going to be completing a range of experiments on the topic of working scientifically. Take a look at our photos to see what we have been getting up to!
This term we are reading Cosmic by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. This is the blurb:
He wanted to see the world - but not quite like this...
Liam Digby is an ordinary twelve-year-old child. A very, very TALL ordinary twelve-year-old. Some people even think he's a grown up. This is the incredible story of how he told some fibs, nearly stole a Porsche, went to a theme park and sort of by accident ended up in space.
